About Us
My name is Dennis Lauritsen (please call me Denny). Just an average guy from Las Vegas that has been doing business, and having FUN, on the Internet for over 10 years. Geesh! time flies when you’re having fun. I keep telling myself I’m retired. Ha!
Here’s how it all started....
All this web stuff for me started back in early 1998 when I had the bright idea to write a book (hardcover, not an e-book like today) and sell it on the Internet. Good book, great idea. It bombed, big time. I had a nephew in school that said he could build me a website to sell it. He knew how to code, and built a site. I didn’t even know what HTML was (still can’t code anything). Whilst doing research for the book I came across something new, Online Gambling. So we built a site for that, I guess timing was right, got lucky and in 9 months was making over $14,000 per month. Still have that site running to this day!
That gave me the opportunity to build more sites, mostly Travel related; sold some, kept others (still have one). During the following few years I still didn’t know didley about the Internet except for what I learned The Hard Way! But I was determined. I’d buy something I thought I needed, try it, trash it, buy another, try it, trash it, over and over, again and again. Lots of disappointments, lots of mistakes, and lots of money wasted.
I didn’t have a mentor to guide me so I believed all those fancy, very convincing sales letters that said buy this, or you need this tool! I became a software shopper junky! Trial and error gets very expensive! What a struggle. But, I did find some really good quality products along the way that did more than they promised. Then a couple years ago I discovered I wasn’t alone, not by a long shot. So I thought why not “Learn it, Test it, then Share it” with others like me with the desire and motivation but little or no skills or know-how.
Which is where we are now....
I’m still a software buying addict, sigh. But I’m harder to convince to buy everything that comes along! And, there is a lot. Today there are lots of sharks that could, and can, see the money potential in selling their stuff to guys just like you and me. With billions of sites on the Internet and growing by the thousands every day, well, just use your imagination.
[As a side note, mid 2007 I found the #11 site of 16,000,000+ on Google for “money making sites” was: The Federal Trade Commission – Consumer Protection, Facts for Consumers site. They found that, quote: “83% of all the money making sites tested, were scams”. 83% Oh my, that’s sad.] http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/invest/inv14.shtm Read it for yourself. So, who can you trust? Who’s advice? That’s where I come in.
So, what do we do.... Our main focus is to help others with the desire and motivation to go from “Newbie to Guru” and become successful with their dreams and ideas. Without the pitfalls of the very expensive Trial and Error. I love to give stuff away, quality, valuable, useful stuff. Dozens of successful sites later I now know what works! And will share it with you.
I get great satisfaction in recommending quality things that work to folks who want to succeed in their endeavors to Work at Home and make their living on the Internet. First-timers (Newbie’s), (In Star Wars, even Yoda said “a noOb yuO are Hmmm.”)
Work at Home Moms, and Dads, Retirees, Handicapped, just plain folks, all benefit! (They love it when they can fire their boss.) Working at home is everything it’s cracked up to be! Do I make a profit? Well, of course! I still love making friends, making money and the challenge of being successful. Now I have a full-time Webmaster that does all that Geek-coding-stuff that I still hate doing, so I can focus on what I know….how to guide folks in realizing their dreams.
I’ll say it again, if you have the desire and motivation to Work from Home (emphasis on “Work”) just get started, don’t delay, just do it, and do it now, and together we will make it work and become friends.
